The Rocket City Dart Association is a Non-Profit Organization, based in Huntsville, AL, whose goal is to promote Darts in Northern Alabama and Southern Tennessee. Through various fund raisers and tournaments, we raise money for local charities such as; the Alabama Kidney Foundation,the American Diabetes Association, Ability Foundation, Marine Toys for Tots,and various Youth programs. Every January the RCDA hosts Shoot for the Moon, a $15,000 tournament, in which darters from all over the country come to compete. We offer a Tuesday night league, which features 4 Divisions with 6-8 teams per division,singles leagues, and doubles leagues. Many Blind Draws are also offered during the week. We welcome everyone, regardless of skill, who is interested in playing darts, whether it be for casual play or for league. If you wanted to submit a design for the State T-Shirt, you still have time, final submissions are now due August 10th. Mark your Calendars now for Saturday August 12 (The date was changed so people could attend the Tournament in Nashville). This will be the opening season party for Fall/winter league. This will also be the deadline to sign up your teams for next season. We need a building or space to host the Youth Dart Clinic this Year. If anybody has or knows anyone who can donate a space or building for a Saturday afternoon for about 5 hours, and big enough to accommodate up to 6 boards please contact Jackie, Beth, or Cyndy CONTEST - open to everyone We Still need a design for This years Alabama State Tournament (2006), and next years Shoot for the Moon (2007), and we want you to design it. The winning design will be used on the t-shirts. Entries may be submitted in any format available to you, and should have no more than 2-4 colors. You may submit your entries to Kenneth Precise no later than August 10, 2006 for the State Design, and January 1st, 2007 for Shoot for the Moon 2007.
